Maintenance - Wetcast

Responsibilities
  • Read / understand operating manuals for plant machinery (steam gen, air comp, wire rollers)
  • Interpret part manuals for purchasing
  • Identify / troubleshoot electrical problems in equipment and building
  • Identify / troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment (meters), and hand tools
  • Be proficient with fabrication tools (welding, oxy/acetyl torch)
  • Repair plant equipment (steel forms, machinery, and building)
  • Help develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
  • Meet safety and housekeeping policy and procedures

Shift / Hours

  • Mon - Fri (Saturdays as needed)
  • 50+ hours / week

Desired Skills

  • One year industrial maintenance (mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, fabrication, pneumatic)
  • Must work well independently with little direction
  • Communicate with co-workers and supervisors in meeting production goals
  • Quick thinker / strategic planner / flexible / problem solver
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Time management, must understand "urgency" of manufacturing
  • Spanish a plus
